WHAT IN HOME SUPPORT DO YOU PROVIDE?
Our Aunties will complete light household chores like folding washing, vacuuming and dishes.
They will also support with baby so that mum can take a shower or a nap. Our Aunties are also great at playing with older siblings so mum can concentrate on baby. They can help by preparing a meal for that evening or to pop in the freezer for another night.

WHO QUALIFIES FOR THIS SERVICE?
Any Taupo mum with a newborn baby. There is no criteria. All mum's are welcome to be part of the Village.
WHAT DOES IT COST?
Nothing it is free. We achieve this by having an amazing team of volunteers. And thanks to funding from grants, sponsorship and support from local businesses, fundraising and donations.

This takes you to an online form. Once that is completed we will be in touch. There is an induction and training process to start and once that is completed you will be teamed up with some mum's and be able to start helping them.
I DON'T WANT TO BE AN AUNTIE BUT WOULD LIKE TO SUPPORT YOU, HOW CAN I DO THIS?
All help is welcomed in our team. Some volunteers may offer baking for our Aunties to take into the homes they visit, others help us with our Facebook page, website or fundraising etc. Some people will buy a coffee card or choose to pay it forward and buy one extra coffee when they purchase one from Cosy Corner. These coffee cards go towards our volunteers as a small thank you for their dedication and care.
